The names, email addresses and other personal data entered on this platform will be used exclusively for the editorial purposes declared by the journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or provided to third parties.

Data registered on the OJS platform is collected and managed by the Universidad de Especialidades Turísticas (UDET), based in Quito, Ecuador, in its capacity as the publishing institution of RICIT. This data is processed solely for the following purposes:

• Managing the manuscript submission, peer review and publication process.
• Facilitating communication between authors, reviewers and the editorial team.
• Generating aggregated and anonymous platform usage statistics.

The platform uses technical cookies necessary for its operation. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. Browsing data and usage statistics are collected anonymously solely for the purpose of improving the service.
